About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled MS Fabric Tech Lead to drive the design, architecture, and implementation of solutions on the Microsoft Fabric platform. The ideal candi should have deep technical expertise in MS Fabric components, strong experience in data engineering and analytics, and the ability to guide teams through complex end-to-end data platform deliveries.
As a Tech Lead, you will collaborate with architects, data engineers, Power BI developers, business analysts, and project managers to design scalable, secure, and optimized data and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the technical design and development of solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Work closely with architects to define solution blueprints, technical standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance to the engineering team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure high-quality delivery.
MS Fabric Expertise
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with:
Core Fabric Components

- OneLake / Lakehouse architecture
- Data Engineering & Notebooks
- Data Factory pipelines & orchestration
- Dataflows Gen2
- Power BI (semantic models, reports, DAX, governance)
- Real-Time Analytics / KQL
- Warehouse & SQL Endpoints
- Implement end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and reporting solutions.
- Optimize Fabric workloads for performance, cost, security, and scalability.
- Ensure security, RBAC, workspace governance, and compliance are follo .
Solution Design & Delivery
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build reusable frameworks for ingestion, orchestration, and reporting within Fabric.
- Design data models, pipelines, semantic models, and reporting layers.
- Collaborate with project managers for planning, estimation, and sprint delivery.
- Own critical design isions and provide expert technical recommendations.
Team Collaboration
- Work with cross- functional team: Architects, Data Engineers, Power BI Developers, QA, BA, and DevOps.
- Mentor ior and mid-level engineers on MS Fabric components.
- Support BA and PM teams in clarifying technical requirements and scope.
Quality, Governance & Best Practices
- Implement Fabric workspace governance, data security, and lifecycle management.
- Define coding standards, branching strategies, and CI/CD practices (if applicable).
- Conduct POCs and evaluate new Fabric features released by Microsoft.
Ideal Candi Profile
- 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (or strong Azure ecosystem experience with Fabric migration exposure).
- Strong in:
- SQL, Python, DAX
- Data modeling
- ETL/ELT pipelines
- Lakehouse architecture
- Experience leading technical teams or acting as a solution/design lead.
- Strong understanding of cloud data ecosystem (Azure preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, architecture thinking, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure services: ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse.
- Knowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOps or Gi b.
- Experience with enterprise data governance and metadata frameworks.
- Prior experience building scalable data platforms in BFSI, Retail, or similar domains.
- Microsoft Certifications in Fabric or Azure Data Engineering.
