FAAS-Senior- Statutory Reporting

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Assistant Manager to join our EY-Assurance Team, responsible for providing end-to-end services pertaining to Statutory reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting. ### Roles and Responsibility Assist in managing engagement delivery for Financial Accounting and Reporting and GAAP conversions. Provide advice and support clients on accounting changes, including first-time IFRS adoption and revenue recognition. Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders, including business accounting teams and internal partners. Conduct detailed reviews of team members' work and review metrics reporting for significant processes. Develop and uplift necessary documents like SOPs and other end-user training materials. Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork and informing supervisors of engagement status. Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion, managing expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports. Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts, stay informed of professional standards and firm policies, and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations. ### Job Requirements CA, ACCA (UK), or CPA qualification is required. Possess expert knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP, FRS 102, and extensive experience in financial statement preparation and consolidation process. Experience in GAAP conversions and adoption of new accounting standards, drafting accounting policies, and writing technical memorandums is essential. Technical accounting advisory skills on complex topics such as business combinations, consolidation, and debt/equity are necessary. A strong understanding of accounting concepts, professional standards, and firm policies is expected. Ability to work across assurance, consulting, law, strategy, tax, and transactions, and demonstrate an understanding of building trust in capital markets.
