About the Role

F5 Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support
F5 BIG-IP modules
including:
LTM (Local Traffic Management)
DNS / GTM (Global Traffic Management)
Configure and maintain
High Availability (HA)
setups for load balancers.
Develop and troubleshoot
iRules
for advanced traffic management.
Handle
SSL/TLS offloading
, certificate management, and security policies.
Work with
F5 rSeries Appliances
,
TMOS
, and
F5OS
platforms.
Use
F5 TCPDump
and other tools for deep application and network troubleshooting.
Implement
F5 AS3 (Application Services 3)
for declarative automation and deployment.
Manage configurations through
TMSH
and
Bash scripting
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application delivery optimization.
Perform planned after-hours maintenance and incident resolution.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years
of hands-on experience with
F5 technologies
.
Expertise in
F5 BIG-IP LTM
and
DNS/GTM
modules.
Strong understanding of
High Availability
,
failover
, and
load balancing
concepts.
Experience in developing and debugging
iRules
(TCL scripting).
Deep knowledge of
SSL/TLS
,
F5 TCPDump
, and network troubleshooting.
Familiarity with
AS3
,
F5 automation
, and
declarative APIs
.
Strong foundation in
networking protocols
(BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, firewalls).
Scripting knowledge in
Bash
or
Python
.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

F5 Certifications
(F5-CTS LTM/DNS).
Experience with
CI/CD automation
,
F5 Automation Toolchain
, or
cloud load balancers
(AWS/Azure/GCP).
Exposure to
monitoring and logging tools
(Splunk, ELK, etc.).

Work Schedule:05:00 PM – 02:00 AM EST (02:30 AM – 11:30 AM IST)
