Export Logistics Head-Senior Manager

The role at The ARL Group involves managing export and domestic logistics operations for their quartz manufacturing business. Your responsibilities will include overseeing shipments, negotiating freight, managing vendors, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and coordinating with the sales team to align dispatch schedules with orders and inventory. You will need to implement and uphold standard operating procedures, manage resources effectively, and contribute to the organization's smooth operation. Specific duties will encompass managing end-to-end domestic and export logistics to ensure timely and compliant deliveries, overseeing export documentation and customs clearance, and coordinating with the sales team on orders, dispatch priorities, and inventory availability. Additionally, you will be responsible for negotiating with transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for cost efficiency, monitoring OTIF performance, and leading the logistics team's development. The ideal candidate should hold a graduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field, with a preference for an MBA. You should have 15-20 years of logistics experience (both domestic and export), ideally within the manufacturing industry. Strong skills in vendor management, sales coordination, and problem-solving are essential, along with proficiency in the Tally system and MS Office.
