Executive / Sr. Executive Packaging Development

Position Title :

ROLE PURPOSE

The position will be responsible for development of Packaging Material for new product based for SML and Sumil.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Development of Packaging Material for new product based on SKU.
• Apply industrial & value engineering techniques for processes improvement.
• Analysis of projects & processes from all angles; suggest solutions to management.
• Drive economic cell, trouble shoot, optimize procurement & equipment performance, and implement cost reduction & waste elimination methods.
• Efficiency management through systems to improve productivity, new process development & standardization in plants.
• Drive technical negotiations for material, time & cost benefit.
• Strong shop floor experience in cost management, efficiency etc.
• Development of specification for new product as well as existing Products.
• Packaging requirement under the Insecticide & Fertilizer Acts.
• Resolution of technical & commercial complaints related with packaging materials.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualification :

Experience

• Preferably worked with Agrochemical / Chemical / Pharma companies.
• Experience of 3+ years and above in the purchase and packing development,

  :

  Brief knowledge of Laminate, IBM, BMC, Alu & Tin containers, E flute carton, corrugated box manufacturing and their costing, Loadability for Export container packaging trouble shooting.
• Diploma / PG in Supply chain management or packaging development.
• Good written and oral communication in English is a must. Should be able to take instructions from the Department Head and work independently, open to imbibe new methodologies and putting them to use.
• Good analytical / conceptual / logical skills.
• Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
