Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Functional Competencies :

  • Knowledge of Product & Market.
  • Convey/arrive at deal decisions in the spirit of joint decision with the sales team and not be seen to have a sense of power from the underwriting responsibility vested by the organization in the officer. Make effort to convince the sales team about any rejection of deal being out of line with organizations credit appetite.
  • Analytical Skills & Sound judgement.
  • Understanding of CIBIL and other checks performed to check customer's credibility.
  • Ability to take quick decisions and be mindful that decision delayed is decision denied.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills for inter and Intra company co-ordination, well versed with local Language, knowledge of Computer and basic excel working

Job Responsibilities

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of customers sourced by the Sales team as per the credit policy, determine deviations and exceptions within turnaround time and seek necessary approvals on deals based on exposure and deviations (approve / suggest modified terms / decline).
  • Assess the customers based on customer documents, FI report, Sales visit report, Bureau report (CIBIL, etc.) and Tele-verification with the customer/ Personal Discussion.
  • Should conduct product and customer's profile match.
  • Identify Risk & suggest suitable Mitigants.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to build a healthy and profitable portfolio.

Non Financial Responsibilities :

  • Provide quick decision (approve/ suggest/ decline) so that TAT is ensured and always keep a solution-oriented approach towards customer needs.
  • Appointment and periodic monitoring of Values, RTO Agents and sourcing channels.
  • Asset Verification/ customer visit for NS/ED cases.
  • Visit to Customer's place prior to approval of deal as per requirement of individual deal.
  • Should highlight any wrong commitments, potential third-party transactions and other negative observations without fear or favor and should get his doubts clear.
  • Smartly figuring out customer's credential and perform tele-verification of the customer.
  • Should ensure that FI Team is well groomed and is presentable at all times..
