1. Prepare and standardize reagents, set up reactions, monitor reaction progress, and handle purification processes (crystallization, distillation, column chromatography).
2. Maintain accurate and timely lab notebooks with yields, observations, and analytical data.
3. Operate and interpret results from GC, HPLC, UV, IR, and melting point apparatus.
4. Follow SOPs, maintain lab hygiene, and manage chemical inventory and glassware.
5. Participate in scale-up trials and generate basic documentation.
6. Adhere to safety guidelines and responsible disposal of chemical waste.
1. Familiarity with standard organic reactions and laboratory practices.
2. Good understanding of purification and basic analytical interpretation.
3. Keen attention to detail and eagerness to learn from senior team members.
4. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and handle multiple lab tasks.
5. Basic proficiency in using MS Office for documentation and report preparation
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
