Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 6 to 11 years of experience to join our team as an Executive, R2R (Record to Report) in EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger functions and excellent interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform month-end close activities in SAP ECC or S/4HANA for EMEA entities.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and support group reporting and management reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and accounting policies.
Participate in EMEA-to-APAC transition activities, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and stabilization.
Identify and support process improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across regions.
Manage Energy Better by driving continuous improvement in reusing, recycling, or reducing waste.
Maintain awareness of identified and potential health and safety, quality, and environmental aspects within the workplace and their impact, including reporting any accidents, incidents, near misses, or hazards.
Act responsibly to meet objectives/requirements at the appropriate level as described in Landis+Gyr policies.
Support the optimization of cost-efficient processes and contribute to efficient, systematic, and profitable operations to meet SLA timelines and quality demands.
Support the introduction of new technologies.

Job Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in a General Ledger function in a medium-sized organization.
Relevant SAP knowledge and experience.
Relevant Cognos knowledge and experience.
High level of computer literacy.
International APAC/EMEA experience is highly desirable.
Extensive knowledge of R2R processes, transition, and Continuous Improvement.
A semi-qualified CA or M.Com or B.Com Graduate degree is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills, good written and verbal language skills, and high customer service orientation are essential.
Ability to prioritize optimally and be flexible as needs change.
