Role Overview

Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the entire

  purchase portfolio

  of raw materials.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and develop new vendor networks.
• Communicate regularly with the Sales team to ensure stock and sample availability.
• Source raw materials directly from origin to ensure competitiveness.
• Ensure timely receipt of goods to meet lead time and sales commitments.
• Forecast sales enquiry patterns and proactively develop new product categories.
• Monitor pending purchases and samples, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Report daily/weekly updates directly to the Director.
• Take ownership of day-to-day procurement activities and ensure smooth functioning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum Experience:

  2 years in procurement, specifically in

  food ingredients (spices & related categories)

  .
• Strong

  negotiation and vendor management skills

  .
• Highly organized, result-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry-specific procurement practices.

• Languages:

  English & Hindi (mandatory). Tamil knowledge will be an added advantage.
