Job Title: Executive - Moulds PVLocation: Chennai RDReports to (Position): Lin Huey NgDepartmentFunction:Purpose of the Job:Responsible for performing mould engineering activities, including creating and delivering accurate drawings and tooling details.These efforts ensure internal customers receive timely solutions, supporting efficient project delivery and adherence to timelines.Major Responsibilities:Participating in drawing development reviews 50%Preparing mould and tooling drawings in 2D3D models and mould-related tooling using AutoCAD, CATIA, or NX softwarePreparing, checking, and releasing drawings for manufacturing, and modifying drawings as neededCoordinating with the design team, plant technology, product development team for drawing validationInspecting and facilitating the dispatch of moulds from mould partners to ensure the "First Time Right" outcome at the plant.Supporting mould suppliers on technical queries of mould manufacturingCoordinating with manufacturing plants for mould activities, mould improvements, and mould shop process enhancementsPrepare Mould modification drawingsPrepare certification drawingsParticipating in and contributing to assigned technical projectsFocus on the departmental "First-Time Right" drawing targets set each year.Focus on the departmental "First-Time Right" mould targets set each year.Prepare lessons learned from opportunities identified through self-performed activitiesPrepare, follow and revise standards based on the needs of your focus area.Track "First-Time Right" (FTR) status monthly and prepare a corresponding reportPrepare the scope for mould modifications to ensure the quality of those modificationsEnsure timely delivery of drawingsEnsure prompt clearance of technical queries for the mould partnerEnsure timely approval of the suppliers self-inspection reports. (Within 48hrs)Skills Relevant Experience:3+ years experience in Mould shop Mould design mould manufacturing preferred.Working knowledge in Auto CAD (2D) is mandatory CATIA (3D) is preferredEducation Qualification(s):
