Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Preparation and checking of part drawings, assembly drawings & Catalog parts
Prototype Validation
Development of design concepts/analysis / Calculations
Release of product design for production
FEA analysis for critical parts
Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM)
Uploading drawings & BOM in SAP/PLM
Preparation of Customer Specification
Customization of customer orders against approved specification
Technical Clarification to purchase and vendors
Verification for vendor drawings
Technical support to assembly/shop
Analysis of NCR/ECO
Maintaining documents as per the IMS system
Assist with Pre-sales technical meetings, kick-off meetings, and resolving perennial complaints
Identifying Design/cost improvement opportunities and implementation

Competency Required

Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD Tools - AUTOCAD, INVENTOR, CREO
Knowledge of Standards - ISO, DIN, ASME & JIS
Knowledge of SAP / PLM software
Knowledge in FEA Tools ANSYS
Good communication.
Work experience in Manufacturing is mandatory.
