Position Overview:

Executive – Legal Strategy and Partnerships

  • Workers’

    and organizations
  • Members of the legal fraternity and legal services authorities
  • Employers, law schools, and civil society partners


The Executive will identify and initiate new opportunities for legal aid, particularly in labour-dense regions. The role includes:

  • Designing and implementing programmes such as legal fellowships, training for para-legal workers, and collaborations with labour governance systems.
  • Advancing research, documentation, and publishing efforts to promote awareness and advocacy on labour justice issues.

This is a dynamic and outward-facing role that demands initiative, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen LEAD’s presence through strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Identify new geographies and sectors for expanding legal aid access.
  • Develop and manage programmes related to legal education, training, and advocacy.
  • Engage with government institutions, legal services authorities, and industry bodies.
  • Lead research, publications, and advocacy initiatives on workers’ rights and justice systems.
  • Represent Aajeevika Bureau in networks, legal forums, and policy discussions.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB / LLM) from a recognized institution.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in legal aid, labour law, human rights, or rights-based work.
  • Strong interest in advancing justice for vulnerable and informal workers.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Hindi (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication, networking, and partnership-building skills.
  • Experience working with legal institutions and stakeholders in Rajasthan and Gujarat will be a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across locations.


Remuneration
