Role Overview: As a Legal professional at our Mumbai location, you will be responsible for handling legal functions, duties, and statutory compliance. Your role will involve drafting and reviewing various agreements, liaising with lawyers on litigations and arbitrations, advising internal stakeholders on legal matters, and ensuring legal compliance in all commercial and legal documents. Key Responsibilities: - Drafting and reviewing various agreements such as Lease Deed, Leave and License Agreement, Service Contract, Notices, Non-Disclosure Agreement, etc. - Drafting and finalizing Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), Trust Deeds, Contracts, Power of Attorney, Letter of Intents (LOI), Agreements with Customers, Vendors, and Clients, etc. - Liaising with lawyers to review the progress of litigations and arbitrations, ensuring timely follow-up & closure of cases, and keeping the management updated periodically. - Providing advice, guidance, and assistance to all internal stakeholders/departments/sister concerns on Legal matters. - Drafting all commercial and legal documents as per business requirements to ensure compliance with relevant laws. - Validating documentation related to business deals for legal compliance and guiding the management team accordingly. - Ensuring compliance of business contracts and obligations, guiding on consequences of breach of provisions to protect the organization from legal ramifications. - Updating MIS of litigation matters regularly. - Assisting the General Counsel in various projects. - Implementing and compliance program of the company. Qualifications Required: - A reasonable understanding of procedural laws such as CPC, CrPC, and substantive laws such as IPC, and other economic offenses statutes. - Ability to achieve projects on time, ensure accuracy & timely preparation of reports, achieve operational excellence, and deliver value to internal and external clients.,
