As the Recruitment & Onboarding specialist, your role will involve coordinating the full-cycle recruitment process. This includes tasks such as posting job openings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and making final selections. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling the onboarding process for new faculty, administrative staff, and student workers. This will involve conducting orientations, managing documentation, and providing necessary system access. In your position, you will collaborate closely with department heads to gain insights into staffing requirements and timelines. Your ability to understand these needs will be crucial in ensuring smooth recruitment and onboarding processes. Your responsibilities in Employee Relations & Performance Management will involve offering guidance and coaching to faculty, managers, and staff on policies, performance expectations, and conflict resolution. You will play a key role in supporting performance review processes, setting timelines, collecting feedback, and ensuring completion. Furthermore, you will be involved in managing disciplinary processes when necessary, in coordination with senior HR leadership. In the realm of Policy & Compliance, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance with labor laws, university policies, and regulations. This will include areas such as contract faculty, adjuncts, tenure track, and grants. You will also be responsible for updating and enforcing HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures to maintain a compliant work environment. As part of your duties, you will maintain accurate personnel records and uphold confidentiality standards to protect sensitive employee information. Your responsibilities in HR Data & Systems will encompass the maintenance and updating of the HR Information System (HRMS) with precise employee data. You will be expected to generate reports and analytics related to turnover, absenteeism, and diversity metrics.
