Role Overview: You will be responsible for the Accounting function in the local office and will liaison with the HQ finance team based in Singapore. Your role will involve performing credit reviews for vendor selection, liaising with auditors and tax consultants on year-end and taxation matters, working closely with various consultants for compliance submission purposes, and supporting the entity accountant for timely completion of book closing, compliance, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Perform credit review for vendor selection - Liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year-end and taxation matters - Work closely with tax consultants, due diligence consultants, Corp Sec consultants, and other Govt Authorities for compliance submission purposes - Liaise with the finance team based in Singapore headquarters for monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities - Support the entity accountant for overall timely completion of book closing, compliance, and reporting Qualifications Required: - Degree in Accounting or equivalent in Finance/Economics - Minimum 4 to 6 years of working experience in finance operations - Hands-on with good attention to detail - Effective communicator to various parties - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment - Ability to communicate in the local language with local stakeholders and English with Headquarters in Singapore - Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software - Experience with an SAP system would be advantageous,
