Executive, Finance

This position will be responsible for the Accounting function in the local office and liaison with the HQ finance team based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely update of books of accounts, preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, Coordinate with Auditors for various Audits - Stat Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, IFC Audit & others, preparation of MIS reports and update variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, Corporate tax and GST reporting, audit schedules, intercompany reconciliation as well as checking of payment records.
  
• Required to perform credit review for vendor selection, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.
  Work closely with various consultants - tax consultants, due diligence consultants, Corp Sec consultants, and other Govt Authorities for compliance submission purposes.
• Liaise with finance team based in Singapore headquarters for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities and internally with various operational departments to perform job role.
• Support entity accountant for overall timely completion of book closing, compliance and reporting

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or its equivalent in Finance / Economics.
• Minimum 4 to 6 years’ of working experience in finance operations.
• Someone who is hands-on with good eyes for details, able to communicate effectively to various parties and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate in local language to communicate with local stakeholders and English to liaise with Headquarters in Singapore.
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software is a pre-requisite and experience with an SAP system would be advantageous.
