Executive Director - Securities Operations Senior Manager

In this role as an Executive Director - Securities Operations Senior Manager at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for managing professional teams accountable for the overall operational performance of the Securities Settlements line of business. Your key responsibilities will include engaging with internal partners and peers, identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvement and risk control development, determining appropriate strategy and actions to meet high-risk deliverables, developing policies and procedures, collaborating with professionals at all levels, and leading the team to achieve objectives. You will also manage the allocation of people and financial resources for Securities Operations and develop a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage professional teams accountable for overall operational performance of Securities Settlements line of business - Engage with internal partners and peers associated with the function - Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development - Determine appropriate strategy and actions of security operations team to meet high-risk deliverables - Develop policies and procedures for security operations within the scope of moderate complexity and responsibility - Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers - Lead team to achieve objectives - Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Securities Operations - Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy **Qualifications Required:** - 6+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education - 3+ years of management or leadership experience **Desired Qualifications:** - Experience in securities settlements, expertise in equities, fixed income & mutual funds in Wealth and Asset Management or Securities Operations - 6+ years in a leadership role with prior experience in managing Managers - Proven knowledge and experience in transformation and automation projects to achieve process simplification and better risk management In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, it is expected that you must be open to working in Shift time from 4:30 p.m. to 1:30/2:30 AM and have in-depth knowledge of securities settlements.
