Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

• Build and scale

  the Amgen India

  Scientific Communications and Publications

  capability, including establishing an

  end-to-end Medical Communications hub

  .

• Lead the Scientific Communications (SciComm) Team

  across the Therapeutic Area (TA) portfolio, managing both marketed products and pipeline molecules.

• Partner with Global Medical Affairs

  strategy leads to develop and execute

  strategic plans

  and high-quality

  scientific content

  (publications, global medical content, payer-relevant content) aligned with product and franchise strategies for

  Global

  and

  US markets

  .

• Lead worldwide delivery

  of medical content for

• Drive the adoption of innovative approaches

Team Management:

• Mentor, inspire, and manage

  a diverse team of scientific communication specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Recruit, retain, and motivate high-performing staff

• Provide

Operational Excellence:

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree

  & 6 years of

  scientific communications

  experience OR

• Master's degree

  & 10 years of

  scientific communications

  experience OR

• Bachelor's degree

  & 12 years of

  scientific communications

  experience

• 6 years of managerial experience

  directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree

  in a life science discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD)
• Prior experience in

  Medical Affairs

  or

  Clinical Development

  within the

  biopharmaceutical industry

• Previous

  leadership experience

  managing a function and managing direct reports
• Deep understanding of

  Good Publication Practices

  and familiarity with external guidelines (e.g.,

  ICMJE

  ,

  GPP

  )
• Strong

  communication skills

  (written and verbal), time management,

  project planning

  , and the ability to present to

• Knowledge of
