Summary:

Were looking for a Solutions Architect who thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. This role requires someone who understands the US healthcare payer/TPA landscape, can bridge the gap between business and technical teams, and delivers value through demos, training, and solution design. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-driven, detail-oriented, and confident in navigating ambiguity while building trust across all levels of an organization.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Able to understand a client’s workflows and paradigm, Partner with clients to understand workflows, pain points, and business objectives; design and propose tailored SDS solutions that maximize value.
  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation, translating them into clear business requirements and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Deliver compelling demos, product walkthroughs, and training sessions—using storytelling and real-world examples to connect with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Create supporting materials including demo scripts, presentations, case studies, and value propositions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and contribute to RFIs/RFPs, ensuring accurate, detailed, and persuasive responses.
  • Act as a bridge between finance, sales, product, engineering, and operations, bringing client feedback to shape product strategy.
  • Stay current on SDS product capabilities, competitor offerings, and payer/TPA industry trends.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while balancing priorities, deadlines, and quality expectations.
  • Identify risks and scope changes early and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, leaning into the “start-up chaos” with a can-do, solutions-oriented mindset.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in solutioning, pre-sales, sales engineering, or consulting—preferably in healthcare IT.
  • Deep understanding of US healthcare payer/TPA workflows.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present complex workflows simply and persuasively.
  • Proven experience delivering demos and training sessions to diverse audiences (executives to frontline staff).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify risks and manage scope effectively.
  • Track record of building relationships and credibility with clients by understanding their challenges and delivering value.
  • Comfortable thriving in ambiguity—organized, proactive, and self-driven in a lean/start-up culture.
  • Experience with RFIs/RFPs and knowledge management tools (e.g., Loopio) is a plus.
