Event Service Assistant Manager (Banquet)

Role Overview: As an Event Service Assistant Manager (Banquet Assistant Manager) at Grand Hyatt Bali, you will be responsible for overseeing operational aspects related to events, conferences, and meetings. Your role will involve handling guest and employee inquiries efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution of complaints, and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders. You will report directly to the Event Service Manager and play a key role in aligning Food and Beverage activities with corporate strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure alignment of Food and Beverage activities with corporate strategy and implement Hotel Actions as needed. - Uphold the brand promise by providing exceptional guest service and maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions. - Stay updated on market trends and vendors to keep hotel operations competitive and innovative. - Implement Touches of Hyatt and the Food and Beverage Top 20 initiatives. - Develop employees" skills through training, coaching, and mentoring to maximize their effectiveness. - Maintain high standards of personal presentation and grooming. - Bring a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Banquet Assistant Manager in a large 5-star luxury hotel or resort. - Manage multiple large events, conferences, and meetings effectively. - Thrive in a high-demand business environment and exhibit strong leadership skills. - Demonstrate proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken. - Possess expertise in working with Property Management Systems such as INFRASYS, HOTSOS, BIRCHSTREET, and other relevant systems. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Banquet Assistant Manager in a large 5-star luxury hotel or resort. - Experience managing multiple and/or large events, conferences, and meetings. - Strong leadership skills with a focus on training and developing teams. - Excellent English communication skills. - Proficiency in Property Management Systems like INFRASYS, HOTSOS, BIRCHSTREET, and others.,
