Event Sales and Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Management:

Drive event business by generating leads and converting them into successful contracts.

Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate agreements, and manage client relationships.

Identify new business opportunities and build a strong client network.

Monitor sales metrics and provide regular updates to management.

Event Planning & Operations:

Plan and execute all aspects of events, including venue, logistics, staffing, and equipment.

Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure flawless delivery.

Troubleshoot operational challenges on-site to maintain smooth execution.

Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and organisational standards.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead and mentor event teams and volunteers to achieve objectives.

Collaborate with marketing, creative, and production teams for integrated event delivery.

Foster a culture of efficiency, creativity, and accountability.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

6-8 years of experience in event sales and operations.

Strong organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.
