Job Title: Automobile Evaluator

Job Summary:

The Automobile Evaluator is responsible for inspecting, assessing, and evaluating used vehicles to determine their condition, quality, and market value. This role ensures accurate and reliable appraisal of pre-owned vehicles for resale or trade-in purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical inspection and road test of used vehicles.
• Assess vehicle body condition, engine performance, chassis, and interiors.
• Identify accidental, flood-damaged, or refurbished parts.
• Use diagnostic tools to assess engine and electronic system health.
• Capture vehicle details (e.g., make, model, variant, year, mileage).
• Evaluate documents like RC, insurance, service history, etc.
• Provide estimated resale value based on inspection and market trends.
• Prepare detailed vehicle evaluation reports with photographs.
• Coordinate with sales and procurement teams for vehicle buying/selling decisions.
• Ensure transparency and integrity in all evaluation processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of automobiles.
• Ability to detect repairs, repainting, and tampering.
• Familiarity with market trends in used car pricing.
• Proficiency in using vehicle diagnostic tools.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Automobile Engineering or relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in vehicle inspection or evaluation (preferred).
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
