Europe Delivery IT Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery Oversight

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT programs and projects in Europe, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget objectives are met.
  
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, security, and operations.
  
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships related to project execution.
  

• Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main point of contact between regional business units and global IT.
  
• Understand and translate business requirements into IT solutions.
  
• Provide regular updates and reporting to executive stakeholders.
  

• Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Lead and mentor delivery teams (internal and external) across multiple countries.
  
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet delivery goals.
  
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  

• Governance & Compliance

• Ensure all IT delivery activities comply with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
  
• Participate in IT governance boards and help shape strategic priorities.
  

• Continuous Improvement

• Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement within existing processes.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a delivery leadership role.
  
• Proven experience delivering complex IT projects across multiple geographies, ideally within Europe.
  
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud platforms).
  
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  
• Fluent in English; additional European language(s) is a plus.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization.
  
• Knowledge of European data privacy laws and IT compliance standards.
  
• PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification.
  
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
