JOB TITLE: Estimation Engineer DEPARTMENT: Estimation REPORTING TO: Head / Manager - Estimation Tema India Pvt Ltd, a leading heat exchanger manufacturer with ISO9001:2000 and ASME, U & U2 stamps Job Description (Essential Exposure to Areas The Estimation Engineer shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Preparation of all Estimation documents covering all engineering phases according to contractual requirements. Perform all activities in the desired manner within the allocated man hour. Take initiative to keep self motivation level as high as possible by taking part in team building program etc. Ensure that all his estimation done are duly checked by Senior estimation engineer before putting the same in front of GM Business development. Ensure that the changes are prepared to inform to client / consultant for cost and delivery implications due to addition or changes in the scope of work before order placement. Estimation Engineer should have thorough knowledge of correct prices for all major items while preparing quotations with sufficient back up. Skills/Competencies Required - Should have thorough knowledge of various codes like ASME Sec VIII div.I, II, API, TEMA, HEI, IBR, BS/ UBC codes etc. - Knowledge of design/ checking of calculations & drawings. - Should be well conversant with design software like PVElite, Microprotol, Autocad, Compress etc. - Should have best communication skills. - Should be well capable to take individual decisions.
