Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Analysis

Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope and requirements.
Conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.

Tendering & Bidding

Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tender documents.
Coordinate with procurement and vendors for updated material prices.
Support bid submissions with accurate cost breakdowns and technical inputs.

Project Evaluation

Review project budgets and monitor deviations.
Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize cost without compromising quality.
Assist project managers in financial planning and forecasting.

Coordination

Liaise with architects, consultants, and subcontractors for clarifications.
Collaborate with site engineers and procurement teams to validate estimates.
Maintain updated databases of material suppliers and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
8+ years of experience in estimation for building projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market rates.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera, Candy/CCS).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
