JOB TITLE: NACE level-I (Painting Inspector)

1. Purpose:

Job description is a part of Company Quality Policies and Procedures.

This standard defines the tasks and responsibilities of the NACE level-I Painting Inspector for TEMA India Pvt. Ltd in the Kherdi Works.

This standard is valid for all employees associated with this role.

2. General:

The NACE Level I Painting Inspector Painting Inspector is responsible for carrying paint coating NACE CIP by various NACE Level I Painting Inspector Painting Inspector Methods in which he is qualified at Kherdi Works in accordance with codes, standards and customer specifications as per companys Quality policy, Standards and customer specifications as per company’s Quality Policy, procedures and work instructions for Customized and standard equipment. (Coatings Inspector Program) inspections are used to examine protective coatings. This ensures that the equipment being coated is prepared correctly and the coatings are applied as per the manufactures specifications to maximize the life and effectiveness of the coating system.

The NACE Level I Painting Inspector Painting Inspector is responsible for carrying Paint coating NACE CIP by various NACE Level I Painting Inspector Methods in which he is qualified at Kherdi Works in accordance with Codes, Standards and Customer Specifications as per company’s Quality Policy, procedures and work instructions for customized and standard equipment.

3. Tasks and Responsibilities:

The NACE Level I Painting Inspector shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Can undertake unsupervised non-destructive and destructive inspections of liquid and non-liquid coatings applied to any substrate. Has demonstrated technical knowledge, and problem-solving ability regarding issues that may arise on-site and are capable of supervising other coating inspectors.

NACE Level II Painting Inspector Operation

• Keep the NACE Level I Painting Inspector apparatus in useable condition all the time.
• Attend offered Painting stages and availability of Painting results well in time to shop
• Inform to Planning Head regarding condition & calibration of the machines well in time.
• Prepare Painting reports as needed.

Duties are performing surface contamination, surface profile inspection, checking weather conditions, ambient, humidity, dew point, and surface temp.

Organizational responsibilities

This includes assessing coating thickness, adhesion, surface preparation, and overall quality. Skills Required: Attention to detail, knowledge of coating materials and applications, ability to use inspection tools and equipment, and understanding of industry standards and specifications

• Carry out painting Report in respective area in safe manner.
• Carry out Painting Report in respective area in cost effective manner
• Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.

Key Result Areas (KRA’s)

Inspectors conduct examinations to ensure that all products are uniform and that they meet the company's standards for excellence. If a product is defective, the inspector disposes of it. Inspectors work in factories, production plants and other manufacturing facilities.
