Description

The Estimation Engineer (Supervisor) will oversee the estimation process for various projects, ensuring that all cost estimates are accurate and completed in a timely manner. This role requires collaboration with project managers and engineers to gather necessary project details and provide comprehensive cost analyses.

Responsibilities

Lead the estimation process for various projects ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary project information and scope.
Develop and maintain cost databases and estimation models.
Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed estimates.
Perform risk analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities during the estimation phase.
Prepare and present detailed cost estimates to stakeholders and management.
Supervise and mentor junior estimation engineers and support their professional development.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in estimation engineering or related roles in construction or manufacturing sectors.
Proficiency in estimation software such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of project management principles and construction methodologies.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimates.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
