Job Description

Estimation Engineer

Responsibilities

Estimate project costs using pricing structures and schedule of rates for manufacturing and erection of precast products.
Prepare accurate BOQ for various precast projects.
Provide detailed and accurate quotations to clients. Ensuring quotes are delivered to agreed service level and margins.
Provide professional, dedicated, and customer-focused service. Correctly interpret requests; understand specification of requirements and provide value engineering.
Travel to job sites to provide technical assistance for clients and sales teams to better understand client requirements.
Obtain and maintain current info on pricing structures and schedule of rates from material vendors, contractors, procurement team and production team.
Support the operational teams by offering guidance on specifications and costs.
Provide cost control metrics through creation of documents to track costs and forecasting of future variations in cost.
Prepare work breakdown structures and perform earned value analysis.
Travel to precast erection sites to track material usage to ensure quantities are within budge and provide reports regarding the same.
