Job Description

Key Responsibilities: • Quantity Take-offs: Accurately measure quantities of materials from construction drawings using specialized software to create detailed bills of quantities. • Cost Estimations: Assist in preparing cost estimates for projects based on bill of quantities, market rates, and project specifications. • Budget Tracking: Monitor project costs against approved budgets, identifying potential cost variations and reporting to senior staff. • Contract Administration: Support contract management by reviewing contractor invoices, managing variations orders, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. • Document Control: Organize and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence. • Site Visits: Regularly visit construction sites to verify quantities, identify potential issues, and update project records. • Data Analysis: Analyze cost data to identify trends and provide insights for project optimization. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) • Basic knowledge of Precast construction and element preferred but not mandatory • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure • Good communication and teamwork skills
