Estimation Engineer

responsible for calculating the costs of fire protection systems by preparing detailed cost sheets, analyzing technical requirements, and understanding relevant fire safety standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of various fire systems, proficiency with estimation software such as AutoCAD and MS Excel, and excellent analytical and communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and project teams. Key Responsibilities

• Tender Analysis: Review and understand tender documents to identify commercial and technical requirements for fire safety projects.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed costing sheets by getting prices from vendors for products, determining installation and execution costs, and conducting rate analysis.
• System Understanding: Possess strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and suppression systems.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all proposals and designs comply with relevant industry standards, such as NFPA codes, and local fire codes.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value-engineered solutions without compromising safety or quality.
• Site Visits: Visit project sites to understand site conditions, which helps in accurate cost estimations.
• Vendor & Client Interaction: Liaise with consultants, clients, project management consultants (PMCs), vendors, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

EXPERIENCE - 1 TO 2 YEARS IN ESTIMATION(FIRE&SAFETY IS MORE PREFERRED

QUALIFICATION - BTECH OR DIPLOMA
