ESP Systems Associate- Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Job Overview

The ESP Systems Associate is responsible for the maintenance of all the ESP (Email Service Provider) Platforms used by the organization. This will require a good understanding of the various features, and limitations, of the ESPs. The ESP Systems Associate will also need to understand email marketing operations, understand current processes followed by the mail teams, to recommend ESP features that may solve their needs, or make their processes efficient, like setting up journeys, automations, etc. in ESPs. They will also need to learn about the various dev automations and API integrations built in-house for the email marketing operations, provide training to the mail teams, and support their daily activities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance of ESP accounts.
• Recommendation and implementation of new ESP features.
• Collaborating with various email operations teams, to understand the needs for optimization and efficiency in processes.
• Training and providing support to mail teams for various Dev products and API integrations built in-house.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Strong understanding of various ESPs, their features, and limitations.
•  Good knowledge of email marketing operations.
• Strong ability to understand custom-built dev products and their features.
•   Flexibility in working with cross-location teams.

Experience

•  1-2 years minimum experience working with various ESP platforms (SFMC / Exact Target, Campaigner, Ongage, etc.)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
