Role & responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our ESG Research & Analysis team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing companies' environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices and providing valuable insights that support sustainable investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies' management of environmental and social risks, and their compliance with international norms on responsible business conduct.
Perform both quantitative and qualitative assessments of ESG risks and opportunities across investment portfolios.
Support ESG investment evaluation by delivering detailed data analyses and risk assessments.
Respond to internal and client queries to ensure data alignment with methodologies and policy guidelines.
Follow standardized workflows to ensure consistency and quality in data collection and processing.
Meet turnaround time targets for all assigned tasks.
Identify and escalate any issues related to data interpretation.
Conduct root cause analysis in case of identified data discrepancies.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Prior experience in ESG research, data collection, or business analysis is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with data visualization or reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Tableau, or Power BI is an advantage.
