Job Description

Role & responsibilities :

1. ERP Implementation & Configuration

Assist in end-to-end implementation of the University ERP across Academic and Non-Academic modules (Admissions, Examination, Student Life Cycle Management, HR, Payroll, Finance, Library, Hostel, Transport, Inventory, etc.).
Participate in requirement gathering, business process mapping, and gap analysis sessions with stakeholders.
Configure ERP modules based on approved business process documents and institutional policies.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and issue resolution with functional teams and the ERP vendor.

2. User Coordination & Support

Serve as the first line of support for end-users on ERP-related issues and queries.
Maintain a log of issues, ensure timely escalation to the vendor or IT team, and track closure.
Conduct user training sessions and prepare user manuals, FAQs, and process flow documents.
Monitor user adoption and promote process standardization across departments.

3. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with the ERP implementation partner for timely resolution of functional and technical issues.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Academics, Examination, Accounts, HR, and Administration.
Assist in defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure vendor adherence to timelines and quality metrics.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Management Information Systems / BCA / MCA / MBA (IT) or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ERP implementation, preferably in Education / University / Higher Education environment.
Familiarity with modules like Student Life Cycle, Admissions, Examination, Finance, HR, and LMS.
