Job Title: Environmental Engineer / Limnologist Job Type: Full-time Location: Varanasi Experience Required: Minimum 5 years Travel Requirement: Up to 30% (8–9 days per month) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and field-oriented Environmental Engineer or Limnologist to lead lake rejuvenation operations across 7 water bodies in the Varanasi-Gorakhpur region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with environmental technologies and a passion for restoring aquatic ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor advanced waterbody treatment technologies such as Nanobubble, Ultrasound, and microbial dosing Conduct real-time analysis of water quality parameters (DO, BOD, COD, TSS, turbidity, etc.) Coordinate with municipal stakeholders and NABL-accredited laboratory partners Supervise field teams handling dredging, de-weeding, and floating waste removal Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Submit structured daily reports and raise timely operational alerts Required Qualifications: Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Environmental Engineering, OR B.Sc. in Limnology, Microbiology, or Aquaculture Experience: 5+ years in environmental field work (e.g., STP/ETP operations, waterbody restoration, ecosystem monitoring) Skills: Strong communication skills in Hindi and English Ability to manage field teams and coordinate with government bodies Proficiency in water quality monitoring and basic environmental compliance Proactive, detail-oriented, and field-ready.
