About the Role

As an Enterprise Messaging Engineer, you will drive product delivery and technology direction for messaging and collaboration platforms, including Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and digital signage solutions such as BrightSign. You will develop strategic roadmaps, architect solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives for enterprise messaging and collaboration services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of messaging and collaboration solutions (O365, Exchange, AD, Teams, Slack, BrightSign, digital signage).
• Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for messaging and collaboration platforms.
• Architect, build, and troubleshoot solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership and consultancy for messaging and signage platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of messaging and collaboration services.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, including AI-driven messaging features, UCaaS, and digital signage innovations.
• Participate in documentation efforts, including user guides and technical documentation.
• Assist in scoping and business analysis activities for messaging and collaboration solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 35 years of experience in enterprise messaging and collaboration technologies.
• Architect-level expertise in O365, Exchange, Active Directory, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience in enterprise global messaging estates of 10,000+ seats.
• Design, build, and troubleshooting experience with O365, Exchange, AD, and Teams.
• Competency with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
• Deep understanding of messaging technologies, including AI-driven features and cloud-based solutions.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Identity Management expertise (Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Identity Manager/FIM).
• Familiarity with Microsoft System Center tools (VMM, OM, SM, Orchestrator).
• Knowledge of UCaaS and real-time communication tools.
• Experience with BrightSign and digital signage platforms for enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate.
• Experience with advanced integrations and automation for messaging and signage platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs.
• Microsoft certifications in Messaging, Teams, or Azure.
