Enterprise Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with a strong track record in defining enterprise-wide IT strategies, leading complex architecture initiatives, and driving digital transformation in large-scale organizations. The ideal candidate will possess deep domain expertise in BFSI , with additional exposure to Retail or Healthcare preferred. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning Collaborate with senior management to define IT strategy aligned with business goals. Formulate and communicate the enterprise architecture vision , roadmap, and technology standards. Assess current IT landscape to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities . Conduct feasibility studies and risk-benefit analyses for technology initiatives. Architecture Design Design and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints covering applications, data, infrastructure, and security. Guide solution architecture for new initiatives to align with enterprise goals. Define technology standards, best practices , and integration guidelines. Ensure enterprise-wide adoption of architectural principles. Technical Leadership Provide technical mentorship to project teams on architecture patterns and technology stacks. Lead architecture review boards to validate quality, scalability, and compliance. Stay informed on emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions . Evaluate and adopt new tools to enhance system capabilities and business outcomes. Communication & Collaboration Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders . Work closely with security, data, and cloud architects to ensure cohesive architecture. Advise executives on the business implications of technical decisions. Governance & Compliance Ensure all architecture complies with industry regulations and security standards . Enforce architecture governance policies across IT programs. Conduct periodic architecture reviews and recommend mitigation for identified risks. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman Skilled in modeling tools and enterprise architecture documentation Deep understanding of: Cloud computing & distributed systems Data architecture & application development Network and infrastructure design Familiar with programming languages and modern development methodologies Business Acumen Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Solid grasp of business processes and how to optimize them through IT Excellent presentation and communication skills Leadership & Collaboration Proven experience leading cross-functional teams Ability to influence decisions and collaborate with senior stakeholders Experience Demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect in complex IT environments History of successful enterprise-wide solution implementations Experience with large-scale transformation and cloud migration projects Domain Expertise Strong preference for experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector Exposure to Retail and/or Healthcare domains is advantageous Preferred Qualifications: Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks: TOGAF , Zachman Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools Experience with modern technology stacks and microservices architectures
