English Teacher

Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons that cater to the abilities of all students. Teach grammar, writing, reading comprehension, literature, and vocabulary. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, exams, and projects. Maintain student records, including grades, attendance, and behavioral notes. Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular projects and improve teaching strategies. Provide individualized support to students who need additional help. Participate in department meetings, school events, and professional development programs. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Valid teaching certification/license, if required by the state or country. Prior teaching experience at the [primary/middle/high school/college] level preferred. Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills. Classroom management skills and ability to engage a diverse group of learners. Proficiency with educational technology and online teaching tools is a plus. Desirable Qualities:Passion for English literature and language.
