About the Role:


The Academic Counselor plays a key role in guiding students toward the right psychology education pathway. The role involves understanding student interests, career goals, and academic needs, and recommending the most suitable psychology programs offered by Indian Counselling Services (ICS).

The counselor acts as the first point of support for students — from initial inquiry to course enrollment — ensuring that every learner receives clear guidance, confidence, and a smooth registration experience. Along with counseling, the role includes handling admissions follow-ups, explaining program benefits, and helping the organization achieve monthly enrollment targets through student support and relationship management.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, enjoys interacting with students, and wants to contribute to the field of mental health and psychology awareness. It requires excellent communication skills, a student-centric attitude, and a proactive mindset to help learners make the best academic and career decisions.



Responsibilities:


1. Academic Guidance

  • Provide expert advice and personalized support to students and clients in selecting psychology-related courses.
  • Understand academic backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend the most suitable programs.

2. Course Registration Support

  • Assist students throughout the registration and onboarding process.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, complete guidance, and a smooth enrollment experience.

3. Enrollment Management

  • Promote available courses and educational programs to prospective students.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly enrollment targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, admissions, and follow-ups.


📌 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Psychology / Education / Social Sciences / Mental Health

    or any relevant field
  • Strong command of

    English communication (spoken & written)

  • Ability to understand student needs and provide clear academic guidance
  • Basic knowledge or interest in psychology programs, counseling, or mental health
  • Comfortable working with

    admission targets, follow-ups, and student engagements

  • Good interpersonal skills, patience, and a student-centric attitude
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office / Google Sheets / CRM (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Freshers with excellent communication and passion for psychology may also apply



🔹 Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic understanding of psychology programs (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Target-oriented and proactive approach



Pay range- ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month Plus Incentives
