Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Faculty to join our academic team at the PU level (1st & 2nd PUC – State Board syllabus). The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, in-depth subject knowledge, and a commitment to helping students excel in academics and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English for 1st and 2nd PUC students as per Karnataka State Board syllabus.
• Prepare lesson plans, deliver engaging classroom instruction, and conduct regular assessments.
• Identify learning gaps and provide extra support where necessary.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Guide students in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, literature, essay writing, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in departmental meetings.
• Prepare students for internal exams, board exams, and academic competitions.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
• Encourage students to participate in debates, presentations, and other extracurricular activities related to English.

Required Qualifications:

• MA in English –mandatory.
• B.Ed. preferred
• Strong knowledge of Karnataka State Board PU syllabus.
• Prior teaching experience at PU level is highly desirable.
• Ability to create a student-friendly and interactive learning environment.

Skills Required:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
• Passion for teaching and a student-centric approach.
• Confidence in using technology for teaching (digital board, presentations, etc.).
• Adaptability and willingness to take initiative in academic planning.

Additional Information:
Working Days - Wednesday and Friday Only

Job Types: Part-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 6 per week
