English Curriculum Developer

As a Curriculum Developer (English Language and Communication Skills), your role involves developing comprehensive and engaging English language curricula and educational content. You will need to ensure that the content aligns with CEFR and other industry standards as per the given requirements. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning and overseeing the development of academic content that enhances language acquisition, catering to beginner to advanced proficiency levels. - Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and relevance of all content, focusing on grammar, contextual functionality, and clarity. - Collaborating closely with the HOD and other stakeholders to align educational materials with departmental goals. - Staying updated with emerging teaching methodologies and adapting content to meet modern pedagogical needs. - Contributing to designing assessments that effectively evaluate language skills, ensuring alignment with established learning objectives. - Mentoring junior curriculum developers and offering regular feedback and guidance on best practices and content creation techniques. For this role, the preferred qualifications include: - A PhD or Masters degree in English, Linguistics, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), or a related field. - Relevant certifications in English language teaching, curriculum development, or content creation (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL). - Familiarity with eLearning tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or instructional design tools is a plus.
