Job Description

As an English Content Writer at NewsReach, you ll craft high-quality press releases, articles, and brand stories aimed at driving visibility and engagement. You ll work within a PR-tech platform that helps businesses and publishers syndicate and license content across India s media network. Your writing will follow editorial guidelines (e.g. 350 1000 words per release, news-style tone, proper structure), ensuring clarity, professionalism and SEO-friendly format.

Roles & Responsibilities

Write, edit, and proofread news articles, features, and long form content in English.
Research and fact check stories to ensure accuracy and credibility.
Adapt writing style according to the tone and requirements of different content formats.
Collaborate with editors, reporters, and other team members to generate ideas and improve content quality.
Ensure all content meets editorial standards, SEO guidelines, and deadlines.
Stay updated with current events, trends, and news developments.

Key Requirements

Strong command of English writing skills grammar, vocabulary, and clarity are essential.
Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field (preferred).
2 4 years of experience in content writing, journalism, or news media (experience will influence salary).
Ability to work in a fast paced newsroom environment.
Good research and analytical skills.
Familiarity with digital media, SEO, and content management systems is a plus.
