Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day operations of the engineering store.
  • Maintain accurate stock of hardware, tools, pipe fittings, motors, and spare parts.
  • Issue and receive materials as per requirement with proper documentation.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to the engineering/maintenance team.
  • Maintain stock register, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and ERP/software entries.
  • Coordinate with vendors and purchase department for replenishment of items.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping of store materials.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
  • Assist in audits, stock verification, and compliance with company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering store operations.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, tools, motors, pipe fittings, and related industrial materials.
  • Familiarity with ERP/Inventory Management systems preferred.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
