Engineering Specialist

As a Procurement Analyst in the Product Lifecycle Management department, your role will involve the following responsibilities and duties: - Support the Inhouse System to create Procurement Requests (PR) - Define and create Purchase Requisitions (BANF) for development projects / Capital Expenditure at RRS, Friedrichshafen, Germany - Generate reports from business systems like SAP, Nintex, and others to track the procurement status of committed Products & Services - Optimize the reporting process by defining / modifying the data extraction process from Excel, SAP, and collecting all required Project related data for reporting - Monitor and track the Procurement activity for the whole development vertical, responsible for all Procurement related topics - Implement new systems and processes for continuous improvement in creating reports and tracking PR effectively - Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all procurement in Development - Monitor and track procurement activity with stakeholders, maintain the database, and highlight critical issues - Document reporting processes for future reference Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (SCM) OR Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement along with German Language proficiency at B1 / B2 level - Strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, minimize manual errors, and apply a lean mindset for continuous improvement - Basic knowledge of SCM, Procurement Activities, and proficiency in MS Excel - Advanced knowledge of SCM, MS Excel, visual basic programming, and the ability to understand and extract necessary information from English and German language quotations - Experience in handling different types of Purchase requests (Material, Service, Capital Assets, etc.) - Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with English speaking Germans This position offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilize your procurement expertise to drive operational efficiency and contribute to the success of the organization.,
