Engineering Program Manager

The role you are applying for is key to managing complex cross-functional programs within our organization. You will collaborate with the product team, engineering team, engineers, and executives to deliver high-impact programs. As part of the PMO team, you will work closely with DATA organization leadership to execute the most impactful programs. Your main responsibilities will include managing project schedules, budgets, and vendors while working with cross-functional engineering teams to drive software efforts using Agile software development principles. You will be in charge of delivering projects on time with a focus on quality, collaborating with various cross-functional engineering and design teams, vendors, and contractors. Additionally, you will manage the program through its lifecycle, including activities such as schedule development and tracking, resource allocation, requirement gathering, risk assessment, and mitigation planning. On a day-to-day basis, you will lead program planning for large complex programs, organize and lead planning activities to create release/program roadmaps, manage stakeholder groups, establish interdependencies, identify risks and resource constraints, and eliminate roadblocks. You will work with product and engineering leaders to define program OKRs, manage clear Gating Criteria for Go/No-go decisions, and ensure regular communication with adjacent programs and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you should have over 8 years of experience with at least 5 years in program management. Experience in organizing multiple teams for software/product development initiatives and Agile lifecycle management is preferred. You should have a proven track record of managing complex development programs to deliver technical solutions and achieve business results. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business and technology stakeholders are essential, along with good knowledge of project management processes and software development methodologies.
