Job Title: Engineering NPD (New Product Development)
Job Description: The Engineering NPD role involves the design, development, and implementation of new products and processes. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, developing prototypes, testing and evaluating product performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role requires strong project management skills to oversee timelines and budgets, as well as effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders throughout the development process. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop new products from concept to production. - Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate potential product ideas. - Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure product alignment with market needs. - Create detailed specifications and documentation for new products. - Develop prototypes and conduct tests to validate product design and functionality. - Analyze test data and implement improvements based on findings. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the product development cycle. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Skills Required: - Strong engineering background, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. - Proficiency in CAD software for product design and modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). - Experience in project management and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various departments.
