Role Purpose

We are looking for proactive engineering managers with 10+ years of engineering experience and proven leadership skills. Engineering managers are expected to work on many projects at the same time, build and manage diverse teams of engineers from different disciplines, formulate and execute strategies, and coordinate with other managers

Responsibilities We Entrust You With

Own delivery of product and project commitments for the team.
Participate in product roadmap discussions and provide inputs in design, modelling, and architectural decisions.
Own and drive project estimations and operations for implementing high quality solution delivery and technology upgrades in the product. Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
Drive efficiency and productivity to produce high quality output.
Create designs that improve the flexibility, functionality, and usability of the system components.
Define the NFRs and build a system that meets the NFR requirements.
Perform design and code reviews.
Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.
Use tools, techniques to enhance quality of code and design with focus on constant reduction of code debt.
Suggest the best design and implementation methodology.
Collaborates with other team leaders and departments.
Build and develop the required competence in the team.
Mentor the team members and prepare them for possible future roles.

What Matters In This Role

Personnel and project management skills

Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes

Organizational, planning, and documentation skills

Proficiency to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders

Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously

Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus

Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product

Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions

Experience in fintech space is an advantage.

Bachelors/master s degree in engineering (Preferred in Computer science)

Around 7 to 10 yrs of total experience working on delivery /Development /Team management etc

Minimum 4 to 5 in working with Java/ .Net /Micro services, Spring boot related technology

Minimum 4 to 5 experience in working frontend technologies like ReactJS/AngularJS.

Good understanding in commonly used Databases like SQL, NoSQL
