Engineering Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide supervision and leadership to colleagues within the Engineering Department.

2. Ensuring the perfect execution of preventive maintenance activities as per Preventive Maintenance

Planner.

3. Ensuring the effective running of all the machineries with zero breakdowns.

4. To review and approve SOP and revise SOP as and when needed for operation and maintenance of

equipment.

5. To review the Change control, Deviation, Equipment qualification, Risk assessment, URS protocol in

assistance with QA.

6. To check all the logs books daily and take corrective measures accordingly.

7. To coordinate with the outside agencies or vendors for repair, calibration and maintenance work.

8. To carryout installation of new machines and ensure appropriate qualifications / validations are

carried out.

9. Monitor and record utility consumption and assist the Chief Engineer to maintain efficiency.

10. Ensure the validation process execution of all the machineries within their due dates.

11. Ensure and verify the engineering modules performance as per the intended laid down SOPs.

12. Ensure facility maintenance in the premises ensure tidiness and complied to Internal employee and

external visitors.

13. SOP Induction training to all the engineering team members.

14. Ensure safety practices inside the premises.

15. Prepare reports, maintain inventories, and keep accurate records, order equipment and supplies.

16. Perform other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required.

17. To make quotation finalisation.

18. Ensure the proper maintaining of history card for all the plant equipment.

19. To check the quality of engineering goods procured by the organisation.
