General description and Job duties Pull drawing-BOM & analyze gap to complete fabrication process. Collect technical concerns from supplier to review with Design Team. Must be familiar with use of CAD & Autodesk Inventor for producing design details, drawings, outlines, or concepts as appropriate for manufacture of various types of Power Transformers. Maintain an effective coordination and communication process between our design engineering and sourcing groups and our respective outsourced vendors. Be the focal communication person between VTC/GTC and suppliers for any design engineering assistance. Immediate contact for design changes and clarifications required. Recommend and create process deviations in QCBD and get the corresponding approvals for outsourced tanks and clamps. Maintain Engineering changes records (Identifying impact). Schedule the Design Review meeting for new jobs assigned with supplier. Support on necessary engineering activities to minimize delays and assure on time delivery, on shipments from outsource suppliers. Provide support as required to our suppliers on drawings interpretation and clarifications, fabrication processes, parts functionality and usage, bills of materials, part numbers and quantities as well as analysis of weights, etc. Support on any other necessary activities for jobs assigned to external suppliers.
