Engineering Lead Analyst - Vice President

Role Overview: Within the Citi CTO team, the API and Integration team is looking for a seasoned Sr. Engineering Developer to join their global team. The team focuses on developing innovative solutions for the wider bank, ensuring that the solutions meet the high standards required by developers who utilize them. This role offers exposure to AI solutions and development in addition to other technical responsibilities. As a senior engineering role within a small and flat team, candidates are expected to be self-starters, innovative, and work effectively with the team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage technical components within the team to ensure alignment with business objectives. - Develop and implement object-oriented programming and technical design. - Utilize CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying pipelines. - Write code in at least one object-oriented programming language like Java, Python, or Golang. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems/bugs efficiently. - Collaborate with teammates on mutual components and codebases. - Apply basic networking, REST API, database, and CLI knowledge. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Ensure software quality through code reviews, technical design reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of proven experience as a senior developer or similar role. - Proficiency in object-oriented programming and technical design. - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Golang. - Experience with standard CI/CD tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, Tekton, Harness, etc. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. - Basic understanding of networking concepts, REST APIs, databases, and CLI. - Excellent communication skills with a focus on strong team collaboration. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing project requirements. Additional Details: The role may involve presenting to senior leadership, understanding GenAI capabilities, system prompts, tool selection, and Model context Protocol for sharing data and services. Software team management skills, GUI/UX design, and development skills are desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, while graduate-level education in a related field is a plus.,
