Targets to be achieved by the employee

  • Detail design of upcoming projects of Compact Hydro, under guidance of lead designers.


Job responsibilities and tasks

  • 3d modeling and 2d drawing preparation in NX – Teamcenter software as per Andritz standard.
  • BoM preparation in ASAP.
  • As on requirement support to be done for Powerhouse drawing and MBoP schematic drawing preparation in AutoCAD / Revit software.

Authorizations (IT)

  • Compact Hydro design server access.
  • NX – Teamcenter software
  • ASAP software
  • AutoCAD software
  • ADMS software
  • Desktop workstation (suitable for above mentioned software) along with 2 monitors, keyboard and mouse

Education, professional experience and qualification requirements

  • Education: Mechanical engineer and NX – CAD software
  • Professional experience: Minimum 1 year industrial experience in mechanical design using NX CAD software
  • Qualification requirements: Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering

Competencies

  • CAD software NX and PLM tool Teamcenter working experience.
  • Sound knowledge of design and mechanical engineering principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of drafting standards & practices, geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T), surface roughness and manufacturing process.
  • Knowledge of engineering materials and standards (IS, ISO, DIN, ASME, ANSI …)
  • Quick learner, ownership of responsibilities and skills that should be in a design engineer.
  • Properly organize drawing & documentation.
